aethyr

Aethyr is an Adobe AIR app that downloads from shared iTunes libraries. The intended purpose of this app is to allow for easier transfer across different computers that a user owns without the need for a USB or an external hard drive. This ensures a much smoother experience when backing up or copying songs from machine to machine. Aethyr has been tested to work on 32-bit/64-bit Windows XP/7 since iTunes 9.2. This includes the latest version, iTunes 10.2.2. However, 64-bit iTunes is currently unsupported.

    • You may need to restart iTunes after installing. As of v1.6.0, you are prompted to by the installer as well.
    Please refer to the FAQ first if you run into any issues.

    You must connect to libraries in iTunes first before you can see them in the dropdown box in Aethyr.

    As Aethyr isn't stable yet, I expect some bugs - please submit something via the feedback form and I'll respond shortly.
    Include your OS, iTunes version, Aethyr version, and the contents of the error.log file in your Aethyr/AethyrBin directory.
